Nathalie Tremblay
President and Chief Executive Officer of the SAAQ
Ms. Nathalie Tremblay was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors and as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec on May 3, 2010.
After completing a licence to practise public accounting and a Bachelor's degree in business administration at Université Laval, she began her career as a chartered accountant in 1987, as team leader at Samson Bélair/Deloitte & Touche. Two years later, she was invited to join the staff of the Auditor General of Québec. In 1995, Ms. Tremblay worked at the SAAQ for the first time, where she was Head of the accounting service, and three years later, Director of internal auditing and investigations. She then became Assistant Deputy Minister and Financial Controller at the Ministère des Finances. She held that position from 1999 to 2004.
Before being appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of the SAAQ, Ms. Tremblay was Vice-President and General Manager of the SAAQ Fonds d'assurance (insurance fund) starting in May 2005.
