The Les énigmes de Génivélo kit was designed to provide an opportunity for children aged 7 to 12 to learn that biking safely can be fun. Through the topics explored in the kit, children learn that a bicycle is not a toy, and that they have to obey the same safety rules as other road users.
The activities in the kit are based on the concept of a treasure hunt that is carried out within a defined perimeter (a gym, school yard, parking lot, etc.). Each child must travel through a series of stations and solve a puzzle at each one.
