Driver's Licence

Fines

Anyone who drives without holding a valid licence is liable to a heavy fine. For example:

Driving during a prohibition period

Following an impaired driving conviction. $1,885 to $3,760
Following a revocation due to an accumulation of 15 demerit points, for the holder of a driver's licence. $865 to $2,510
OR
Following a suspension due to an accumulation of 4 demerit points, for the holder of a learner's licence or probationary licence. $865 to $2,510
