Special Cases

For a trailer with single wheels that is part of a combination of road vehicles:

1. count only one axle if the distance between the centre points of the axes of the outermost axles is less than 1 metre, even if the trailer has 2 or more axles;

2. count 2 axles if the distance between the centre points of the axes of the outermost axles is more than 1 metre but less than 2.4 metres, even if the trailer has 3 or more axles.
