Purchasing a Damaged Vehicle from the United States
Every individual wishing to purchase a vehicle imported from the USA is responsible for checking this vehicle's origin and record to know if it has been declared a total loss. A vehicle declared a total loss cannot be registered and will be barred from road use on the Québec highway system until it complies with Québec regulations.
