Note: Any operation completed after 11:00 p.m. will not be recorded.

Who can use this online service?

Individuals paying for their driver’s licence or vehicle registration by pre-authorized debits and who want to modify their banking information.

This online service is not intended for...

• businesses;
• joint owners (co-leased or co-ownership);
• individuals with one or more subdivisions on file;
• individuals receiving compensation following a road accident.

If any of the first three situations apply, you can find out the procedure to follow by phone or go to an SAAQ service outlet to do the operation.

Individuals receiving compensation following an automobile accident can call to notify the SAAQ of a change.

Good to know…

When you change your banking information with the SAAQ, you must indicate the date on which the change is to be made. The date must be at least three business days before the date of your next pre-authorized debit. This time frame is required to notify your financial institution so that you avoid fees. The SAAQ charges a fee for any refused bank transaction.

• A cheque specimen;
• Your driver’s licence OR your most recent registration certificate.
