Anyone who has a driver's licence.

How will you receive your copy of the driving record?

By mail at the address recorded in your file, for reasons of security and the protection of personal information.

Your driving record contains information about:

  • the status of your driver's licence;
  • active demerit points on your record;
  • offences committed;
  • conditions under which you are authorized to drive;
  • licence class or classes;
  • your driving experience;
  • medical decisions that concern you (if applicable);
  • events related to driving a heavy vehicle (short form). If events are entered in your record, you can find more information in the Monitoring of Heavy Vehicle Driver Conduct document.

If you wish to submit a request for access to your file under the Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information, you may submit your request in writing to the person in charge of access to information.
