Four More Awards for the “Victimes du silence” (Victims of Silence) Campaign
The SAAQ is proud to announce that its “Victimes du silence” (Victims of Silence) campaign recently won four more awards. Media placement agency Touché was a Gold winner in two categories at the Media Innovation Awards, while lg2 picked up two awards at Boomerang 2014.

Temporary Stay Outside of Québec
Before leaving to stay outside of Québec, remember to check your automobile insurance, vehicle registration and driver's licence.
Class 6E Indicated Directly on the Driver’s Licence
As of December 8, 2014, Class 6E (three-wheeled motorcycle) will be indicated directly on driver’s licences issued by the SAAQ. The SAAQ will gradually issue new driver’s licences free of charge to Class 6E attestation holders.
New requirements for obtaining the T endorsement
Effective December 15, 2014, all heavy vehicle drivers who wish to obtain the T endorsement must successfully complete a special training course at one of Québec’s school board-administered transportation training centres.
Alcohol and drug-impaired driving
From Novembre 27 to January 4, police officers will conduct intensive roadside checks throughout the province to target alcohol and drug-impaired driving. The SAAQ encourages you to be vigilant and to plan alternatives for getting home.
True or False: You can be arrested and convicted under the Criminal Code if your ability to drive is compromised by drugs or other medication.
Penalties are provided under the Criminal Code for impaired driving, regardless of the substance involved, i.e. alcohol, drugs, or other medication.
